Hi, I’m Jessica Wirka
I’m someone who has spent her entire life moving between cultures. Living in six countries and traveling to more than seventy during my career in international business has shaped how I see the world and how I connect with people. I’m a Brit who grew up in Germany and has lived in the United States for more than twenty years. Lucky enough to become bilingual in English and German early in childhood, I’m also fluent in French and Italian, and conversational in Spanish.
As a mother of teenage twins who have traveled extensively with me, I’ve watched how travel builds confidence, curiosity, and compassion in young people. Those experiences inspired me to create Annis Travel, a place where I can help families and groups experience the world in a way that feels meaningful, seamless, and beautifully curated.
One of the most formative experiences of my life was working as a tour director in Europe the summer between college and starting my career. I spent my days guiding travelers through cities and countries I loved, watching them discover Europe for the first time. That summer planted the seed for everything I do now.
I’ve come to see myself as a true global citizen—someone who feels at home in many places and who believes deeply in the power of travel to open hearts and expand perspectives.
My work is rooted in cultural fluency, personal connection, and the belief that the best journeys stay with us long after we return home.
